Two passionate playwrights bringing truth, power, and heart to the stage this Juneteenth at the Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Los Angeles as part of a special commemorative presentation. This is a cultural moment, and we want you to be a part of it.
Timeless
a raw and riveting look at the emotional and psychological effects of the Tuskegee Syphilis Study and the Crack Epidemic.
900 Days
a piece that explores the life of two African Americans the moment they are told that slavery was over and had been over for 900 days. It blends music, movement and text together to honor our ancestors and project us into the future filled with hope and purpose. A true depiction of Juneteenth.
These aren’t just performances — they’re experiences. They’re acts of remembrance, resistance, and renewal at one of LA’s most historic arts spaces.
Let’s commemorate Juneteenth by honoring our past, uplifting our present, and creating a more just future — together.
