It was our immense pleasure to partner with Community Coalition’s Dr. Ryan J. Smith and co-sponsor The Love Letter LA Project. We gathered last evening at South LA Cáfe to hear from youth and community leaders on their experiences of joy and radical unity. Dr. Smith led a thoughtful discussion on actionable next steps for love and solidarity efforts in LA.
The Love Letter LA Project intends to provide community spaces that uplift the voices and stories of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, youth, immigrant, and other marginalized communities. Join us in sharing the under-told stories of Los Angeles’s past, present, and future by innovatively blending community-centered storytelling, live events, social media communication and education, and community building.
