Enjoy the water, food, games, a grounding exercise and witness phenomenal actors bring James Baldwin’s prophetic words to life under the sky and cool waters. Following the performances, they’ll gather for a discussion on Baldwin’s call to action during these times. This will be a day full of fellowship, food, and frolicking 🙂 Food will be served on a first-come, first-served basis. This is a FREE event. They hope to see you there!

WHAT TO BRING: Beach wear and gear such as sunscreen, beach towels, chairs, tents, sunglasses, hats, blankets, beach umbrella, water bottle, and snacks! Got food allergies or special preferences? Feel free to bring what you love to eat! Notebook & pen to journal with your favorite James Baldwin book. An offering *** offerings can be sharing a topic of conversation, making a new friend, a thoughtful question, snacks, your grandma’s cookies, or your famous mac ‘n’ cheese. Get creative. Time is also an offering, but only if given with a clear intention.
