The Cicada
A monthly storytelling collective uplifting Black voices through personal narrative, music, and folklore. Inspired by the cicada’s ancestral return song, this program centers lived experience, memory, and cultural legacy—offering space for community healing, joy, and reflection.
The 1st installment will be October 12th at Ora Cafe in Leimert Park.
*While entry is FREE, they do ask their guests to honor a two-item minimum purchase from the venue host.*
