Support Black Theatre hosted two Talk Forward events for Brothers of Affliction by Paris Crayton lll premiering at The Willie Agee Playhouse. First we gathered at Ebony Repertory Theatre for a SBT Men’s Event where we provided a whole host of products, food, literature, and work-related supplies for the men in attendance to build care packages for the young men of Brotherhood Crusade (BC) who were entering the workforce. Items ranged from neck ties and shaving necessities, to journals and handwritten notes of encouragement. These packages were then given to the BC youth in attendance at a subsequent performance of the play. It was an amazing time of brotherhood and mentorship.
