Step inside the beauty shop.

Set in the vibrant, ever-shifting world of the 1970s, Coco Queens invites you into a bustling neighborhood salon where four Black women build a sisterhood rooted in love, resilience, and truth.

Beneath the hum of dryers and the rhythm of laughter, secrets are shared, dreams take shape, and lives are forever changed.

Bold. Intimate. Unapologetically powerful. Written by New York Times bestselling author LaDarrion Williams. Starring: Julanne Chidi Hill, Mildred Marie Langford, Chanell Bell, Sierra Nicolette Smith. Join this special staged reading of Coco Queens, as we close out the celebration of Women’s History Month, and embark on the exciting journey of bringing this dynamic new play to life on Los Angeles stages. Your ticket directly supports the Coco Queens creative team as they further develop the play and bring it closer to a full production this fall.

Come for the story. Stay for the sisterhood. Be part of the beginning.

Doors open at 6:15pm. Street Parking.
