Support Black Theatre was honored to receive a 2026 California Educational Theatre Association (CETA) Award! It was especially meaningful to celebrate in a room filled with extraordinary educators who understand the power of theatre to help young people discover their voices, build confidence, and connect with one another.
Our heartfelt thanks to Amanda Swann for her advocacy of our work and for championing the impact of SBT’s arts education programming. This recognition means so much to our team and to the teaching artists whose care and commitment make that work possible.
We left inspired by the educators around us and deeply grateful to be recognized by a community so dedicated to young people and the arts. Thank you, CETA, for this beautiful honor!
