FUCKIN LOUD by M. Imani West at the Hollywood Fringe Festival

The Malodrama Productions presents the West Coast premiere of FUCKIN LOUD by M. Imani West, a Hollywood Fringe Festival selection, directed by Jackeline Torres Cortès.

FUCKIN LOUD is a solo choreopoem—a blend of poetry, storytelling, music, and dance, as defined by Ntozake Shange—that spirals through the mind of a Black trans non-binary artist at their wit’s end. In this 55 minute performance, the Artist is haunted by thoughts and memories that are…ain’t…is their own. When their safest place turns sour, they fight to find themselves amongst the chaos. A riot of thoughts, movement, cinema and sound that the New Haven Arts Paper described as “poetic and daring.”
