Meet Icons of Hollywood in Candid Conversation with Host Phylliss Bailey Brooks, as part of the “Icons in the Park” series

You are cordially invited to join us for an exclusive and intimate evening with the Actor | Producer and Composer Justin Lord. This incredible night promises to be captivating with his soulful story and remarkable journey. Join a once in a lifetime opportunity to question the life and career of Justin Lord up close in an intimate evening filled with memorable storytelling laughter and pure entertainment.

Mr. Lord Actor / writer / director / composer and model began as an actor and musician which lead to him directing actors on stages across the globe. His directing career spans from the American Theatre Arts in California | The Skylight Theatre | Luna Playhouse | Inner City Cultural Center | JD Hall’s “Loot” | Theatre 40 | Stella Adler Theatre | HBO New Writers | National Black Theatre Festival in Winston Salem and Town Street Theatre…just to name a few and Justin Lord is a member of the Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab.

Join them for a Q & A after you hear the journey of this iconic legend Justin Lord at their Monthly Documentary Series. Learn about your favorite artists television shows and films. Talk about from breaking into Hollywood to writing scripts and surviving the entertainment industry directly with your best-loved iconic figures and alumni of Inner City Cultural Center.

Inner City Cultural Center II, Inc. pays tribute to legends past and present on Tuesday nights while documenting the history of Inner City Cultural Center. ICCC is the first Multicultural Performing Arts Institute in the county and the Greatest Multicultural Performing Arts Institute of our Time.

Pearl Sharp | Michelle Thomas | George Wolf | Lincoln Kilpatrick and about twelve members of the original cast of television show Star Trek including Officer Uhura/Nichelle Nichols | Helmsman/George Takei and Ursula Bryant as Starship Captain Scott.

Between the 60’s and the early 80’s most of the Actors of Color you saw on television passed through the doors of Inner City Cultural Center. There was also a beautiful wave of talented Behind-the-Scenes crew that keeps this cities Arts and Cultural running strong to this day…you just don’t know their names; but ICCC II is going to tell you in this monthly series as they document OUR HISTORY!

Every Alumni of Inner City Cultural Center is welcome to schedule an Intimate Evening with… for the documentation of YOU from Inner City Cultural Center to Now for the archives of the future C. Bernard Jackson Memorial Library.

Tickets: $20-$50 which includes a Pre-Show Meet & Greet.

Showtime: 7:30pm / No Late Seating

Parking: The Parking Lot closest to the Playhouse is where three streets merge…Warren Lane and Stepney STREET and North Park Avenue all end at the Parking Lot Entrance. The Playhouse is behind the playground. The park has several parking lots depending on the direction you arrive from.
