Bottle Tree Theatre Co. invites you to support and celebrate The 1st Annual Bottle Tree Family Reunion, a joyous fundraising event dedicated to community, creativity, and connection.

This indoor-outdoor gathering will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 3–8 PM in Highland Park, and is designed to feel exactly like what the name suggests: a family reunion. Whether through line dancing, card games, karaoke, or shared plates from local vendors, this event is about feeding the spirit of togetherness while raising funds to sustain and grow Bottle Tree’s cultural work.

They are thrilled to have a dynamic partner confirmed for the inaugural event (announcement forthcoming) and are currently seeking additional dynamic sponsors and partners to help make this day unforgettable.

Bottle Tree Theatre Co. is a Black femme-led creative collective rooted in cultural preservation, artistic excellence, and community care. They do everything as a family — and The Family Reunion is no exception.

Their annual fundraiser is a joyful celebration of their shared legacy and collective future, featuring music, food, games, a silent auction, and (if the spirit hits) a little line dancing. Funds raised directly support their year-round programming, helping them nurture bold, necessary work by and for Black artists in Los Angeles and beyond.

Their friends at Love, Peace and Spades™️ will be pulling up with their Spades Academy™️ – A curriculum based, coach-led educational initiative that teaches folks how to play culturally rich card games (e.g. Spades, Dominoes, Bid Wist) in a non-judgemental environment.
