SBT released a request for proposals for our Power Building Partnerships Microgrant, supporting Black theatres and independent Black producers across Los Angeles County. Offering matching grants of up to $1,000, the initiative encourages partnerships with organizations and businesses outside the arts to connect theatre programming with tangible community resources. From education and wellness to civic engagement, these collaborations expand the ways Black theatre serves our communities. We’re excited to invest in work that brings people together, strengthens local relationships, and builds collective power. Awardees will be announced on/around July 1st!
