Our awesome GroundED Teaching Artists had a ball with Ms. Swann’s talented students at Verdugo Hills High School. Students learned about the contributions of four great playwrights — August Wilson, Lorraine Hansberry, Alice Childress, and Phillip Hayes Dean — and worked on scenes and monologues from each. It’s been a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to see these wonderful artists in the Legacy Rising Monologue Competition!
