One of our favorite traditions is sending SBT student alumni to see Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion! It was a beautiful, enriching night celebrating the artistry and expression of this incredible company. Experiences like these keep our alumni connected beyond the classroom and introduce them to the many ways Black artists tell our stories. We love connecting our students with Black theatre and Black art across Los Angeles, opening doors to experiences that inspire them long after the curtain falls.
