STILL HERE is an interactive exhibit + immersive experience rooted in stories about Black women and HIV. Brought to life in a hair salon. STILL HERE uses the power of storytelling to build social impact. The project brings together a dynamic group of multidisciplinary artists and storytellers to unearth and focus-in on the unique realities faced by Black communities across the diaspora.

The Still Here Performance Experience fuses video, music and dance into a 360º performance experience in DreamGirls Hair Salon. Devised by a company of multi-disciplinary artists, this intimate and immersive performance amplifies stories about how HIV/AIDS impacts Black women.

Still Here runs approximately 1 hour and there is no intermission.

Still Here is recommended for audiences 14+, with parental guidance.

• Due to the unique nature of this performance, there is absolutely no late seating, and we cannot provide refunds due to lateness.
• Guests can engage with select exhibits from the Still Here Installation Experience before the performance. We recommend visiting during gallery hours for the full Installation Experience. You can RSVP for free here.

PARKING INFORMATION

They encourage using rideshare, public transit or carpool to access DreamGirls Salon. Street parking is extremely limited on Sepulveda Boulevard, and they recommend you do not park on the local residential streets to avoid parking tickets or towing.
